This is a very unusual Scutellid trilobite. It is an undescribed Scutellid from the Devonian deposits of Morocco. This type of trilobite differs from most Scutellids by having a wide cephalon and a thin tail, similar to a Kolihapeltis, but with no vertical spines. The bug has great natural color and very nice detail. The long pleural spines and rounded tail are easily seen. The inflated trilobite is nicely showcased on the sculpted limestone block. This is a great example of this extremely unusual Moroccan trilobite.
