This is a nice multiple specimen of Calymene niagarensis from the Rochester Shale of New York. There are three examples of this trilobite on the plate. The trilobites are complete and two of them are very well articulated. The trilobites are prone and very 3-dimensional and have the thick exoskeleton wonderfully preserved. The dark brownish-black trilobites contrast beautifully with the grey matrix. The bugs are well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine triple Calymene specimen from the Silurian of New York.
