This is a textbook trilobite from an exotic location. It is a large Iranoleesia librata from the Cambrian of Siberia, Russia. This excellent trilobite is very well articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present, which is extremely unusual. The eyes of the bug are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The ancient arthropod is very inflated and has great color and contrast. The trilobite is beautifully showcased on the large, natural plate of matrix. This is a top quality example of this unusual Cambrian trilobite from Siberia.
