This is a very unusual trilobite from Utah. It is a Modocia sp. from the House Range. This specimen was recently acquired from an old collection. This bug differs from the more common Elrathia. The bug has nice shell detail, and the overall articulation is excellent. The large trilobite is nicely positioned on the small matrix plate. This is an unusual type of Modocia from an old collection.
