This is an excellent Phacops rana rana triple from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There are three examples on the plate. The trilobites are inflated and exhibit fine detail. The individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabellas are extremely well preserved. The dark grayish-black trilobites contrast beautifully with the light gray matrix. The bugs are nicely showcased on the natural matrix plate. This is a very collectible triple specimen of Phacops from New York.
