This is an excellent Lower Cambrian trilobite. It is a complete Wanneria walcottana from the classic Kinzers Formation of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This large specimen was recently obtained from an old collection. The bug is wonderfully articulated and exhibits outstanding detail. The long pleural spines are beautifully displayed, and both short genal spines are easily seen. The great preservation and the beautiful, natural coloration make for a very collectible fossil. This is a top quality specimen of one of the most sought-after trilobites from Pennsylvania.
