Here is a complete specimen of Morocconites malladoides from the Devonian of Morocco. This type of trilobite has a pointed spine projecting from the front of the cephalon. The extremely 3-dimensional bug is outstretched and nicely articulated. The greenish color of the fossil contrasts nicely with the light-colored matrix. It is well positioned on the sculpted plate of limestone. This is a very affordable example of Morocconites malladoides from the Atlas Mountains.
