This is a very nice Lower Cambrian trilobite. This is a large Wanneria sp. from the Eager Formation of Canada. This complete trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits great detail. The genal spines are easily seen and the pointed pleural spines are quite evident. The bug has good color and contrast and is beautifully displayed on the semi-squared plate of shale. The counterpart (impression) is included, and there is a nice Phyllocarid carapace preserved on the back side. This is a large, complete example of this classic Lower Cambrian trilobite.
