This is one of the rarest trilobites in Oklahoma. It is a complete example of the elusive ''Bug X'' Acanthopyge from Coal County, Oklahoma. This trilobite was prepared and signed by the famous Bob Carroll. The bug is outstretched and nicely articulated. The pustulose exoskeleton is beautifully preserved. The bulbous glabella is extremely inflated, and the eyes are easily seen. The trilobite is wonderfully showcased on a sculpted block of marlstone that also contains a solitary coral. This is a very nice specimen of one of the most sought-after trilobites in Oklahoma.
