This is a nice multiple slab of Ampyxina bellatula from Pike County, Missouri. This plate has 4 complete trilobites preserved, along with MANY counterparts and partials. This slab represents an Ordovician sea floor, with the trilobites rapidly buried alive. The top of the rock is just covered with trilobites - there are very few blank spaces. One of the trilobites still has its long, thin genal spines intact, which is rare for this type. This is a great multiple plate of Ampyxina from Missouri.
