This is a very unusual Cambrian trilobite. It is a wonderful specimen of Pseudolenus(?) sp. from the Cambrian of Morocco. This is a very rare type and may not even be Pseudolenus! inflated trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact and tightly attached, which is highly unusual. The bug exhibits very fine detail - the crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The large trilobite has gorgeous, natural orangish coloration that contrasts beautifully with the sculpted plate of grayish-green matrix. The ancient arthropod is almost perfectly centered on the natural-edged block of shale. This is a very displayable example of this extremely uncommon Cambrian trilobite.
