This is an excellent specimen of Jenkinsonia varga, acquired from the DeRosear Collection. This specimen is the rarer ''Type B'', exhibiting the shorter, almost not-existent genal spines. The trilobite has very fine detail. The unusual cephalon and pointed pleuron tips are nicely displayed. The trilobite has great color and contrast, and is wonderfully showcased on a substantial slab of shale. This is a top-quality specimen of this unusual, hourglass-shaped trilobite, formerly a part of the DeRosear Collection (Number 203).
