Here is a classic US trilobite. This is a wonderful Elrathia kingi from the Cambrian of Utah. Although this species is one of the most prolific trilobites, this is an excellent specimen. The trilobite is complete and almost perfectly articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The trilobite has been well prepared with an air abrasive machine to preserve the fine detail. The black bug contrasts beautifully with the light grey matrix. This is a very large, complete example of Elrathia kingi.
