This is an extremely rare trilobite fossil. It is a double Dicranurus hamatus elegantus from Oklahoma. This type is one of the most sought-after trilobites from Oklahoma. And, yes, this is a natural double! Both trilobites are complete, which is incredibly rare - one complete ''Dike'' is a real find, but two on the same rock is truly unique. Both bugs were prepared with the ''Ram's Horns'' free-standing for optimal display. The body spines are also long and very symmetrical. Dicranurus is one of the hardest Oklahoma trilobites to find articulated - usually the free cheeks are moved and the body is ''jumbled''. We have collected this site for a decade, and this is the only double Dicranurus of this quality we have ever found (or HEARD OF, for that matter!). It is a one-of-a-kind multiple specimen of the most famous trilobite from Oklahoma.
