This is a beautiful specimen of Olenellus chiefensis from the Lower Cambrian of Nevada. The long, crescent-shaped eyes are quite visible, and the telson (tailspine) is tightly attached. The detail on the body of the trilobite is excellent. The trilobite has beautiful, natural red coloration, which contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. And, best of all, this bug is a split pair, and the counterpart is included at no extra charge. This is one of the more displayable specimens of Olenellus chiefensis that we have seen.
