This is an excellent specimen of Ogyginus corndensis from the Ordovician of Wales. This trilobite is complete and has wonderful detail preserved. Many times, this type of trilobite is found without the free cheeks - on this specimen, both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. The LONG genal spines are fully intact, which is also quite unusual. The fossil has very good color and contrast, and is beautifully centered on the orange-colored plate of shale. This is a very collectible specimen of Ogyginus corndensis from ''across the pond''.
