This is a classic US trilobite. It is a large Eldredgeops milleri (Phacops rana milleri) from Ohio. This type is known for its large faceted compound eyes - this specimen doesn't disappoint - the eye facets are flawless. The bug is nicely outstretched and has a small ''collar'' of bright pyrite on the axial ring of the head. This is a beautiful example of this famous Devonian trilobite from Ohio.
