This is a nice plate of large Olenellid trilobites. They are Olenellus gilberti from the Pioche Formation of Nevada. The trilobite on the right is incomplete - no cephalon. But the trilobite on the left is complete including part of the telson (tailspine). The bug is large for this type and is very wide. The trilobite has excellent detail preserved. Both trilobites are aesthetically spaced on the squared matrix plate. This is a displayable example of large Olenellus trilobites from Nevada.
