This is a fine example of Asaphus (Neoasaphus) punctatus from the Ordovician of Russia. This prone specimen is very 3-dimensional and is positioned nicely on a natural block of matrix. The trilobite has great caramel-brown color and displays extremely well on the cream-colored matrix that also contains an Echinosphaerites cystoid. This is a very nice specimen of this Asaphid trilobite from Russia.
