This is a very nice trilobite from an exotic location. It is a large Hatangia scita from the Cambrian of Siberia, Russia. This complete trilobite is well articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present, which is quite unusual. The eyes of the bug are easily seen, and the many individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The ancient arthropod has great color and contrast and is beautifully presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is an excellent example of this distinct trilobite from Siberia.
