This is an excellent juvenile specimen of Hunanolenus genalatus from the Cambrian of China. It is unusual to find this type of trilobite with the free cheeks intact, and the fact that it is a juvenile makes it that much more collectible. The extremely long genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the short, pointed pleural spines are clearly defined. The crescent-shaped eyes are quite distinct, and even the tiny pygidium is intact. The bug has good color and detail and is nicely presented on the somewhat squared plate of shale. This is a very complete juvenile specimen of Hunanolenus genalatus.
