This is a fine example of Asaphus (Neoasaphus) cornutus from the Ordovician of Russia. This prone specimen is very 3-dimensional and is positioned nicely on a natural block of matrix. The trilobite has great caramel-brown color and contrasts beautifully with the cream-colored matrix. The specimen is wonderfully articulated and displays extremely well. This is a very nice specimen of this Asaphid trilobite from Russia.
