This is a beautiful display trilobite. It is a large Asaphus (Neoasaphus) kotlukovi from St. Petersburg, Russia. The trilobite is very inflated and prone on the matrix plate. The bug is nicely articulated and exhibits fine detail. The rich, chocolate brown color of the trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the natural plate of limestone. This is a very aesthetic Asaphid trilobite from Russia.
