This is an unusual Olenellid trilobite. It is a Nephrolenellus geniculatus from Nevada. This type has a wide head, bulbous glabella, no tailspine, and large third segment pleurons that taper into long spines - this specimen showcases these features beautifully. This trilobite is inflated and has very good detail. And, best of all, it is a split pair - the counterpart is intact and included for no charge. This is a fine positive/negative example of this unusual Lower Cambrian bug.
