Here is an excellent Middle Cambrian trilobite. This is a large, complete Asaphiscus wheeleri from Utah. This specimen is wonderfully articulated and exhibits incredible detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The trilobite is aesthetically centered and beautifully showcased on the huge, natural, unbroken plate of shale. The shiny black exoskeleton of the trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the gray matrix. It is a top quality Asaphiscus wheeleri trilobite from the House Range of Utah.
