Here is a very nice specimen of Crotalocephalus gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. This large trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. The outstretched bug is extremely 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The small eyes are quite distinct, and the pygidial spines are all intact and wonderfully displayed. The thick exoskeleton is well preserved, and the sharply-pointed pleurons of the trilobite are clearly defined. The 'bite has great natural color and is beautifully centered on the sculpted block of dense limestone. This is a very affordable specimen of this strange, worm-like trilobite.
