Here is an interesting trilobite that we recently acquired in a trade. It is a Gravicalymene arculartua from the Ordovician of Wales. The trilobite is complete and very 3-dimensional. It is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The bug shows very little lateral compression, which is very unusual for this site. The trilobite has very good color and contrast and sits on an irregular plate of matrix. This is a very nice example of this classic European trilobite.
