This is a fine Ordovician trilobite. It is an Ogygiocarella debuchii from the United Kingdom. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits superb detail. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached, which is somewhat unusual for this particular type of trilobite. The flaring genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The bug has good color and contrast and is well presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is a very nice example of Ogygiocarella from England.
