This is a very attractive Ordovician trilobite from China. This trilobite used to be named Yuepingia but is now called Paraszechuanella. This trilobite is quite prone and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The inflated trilobite is very symmetrical and exhibits great detail. The genal spines are clearly defined, and the crescent-shaped eyes are evident. The individual thoracic segments are very distinct, and the wide pygidial border is easily seen. The bug has nice color and contrast and is almost perfectly centered on the rectangular plate of matrix. This is an excellent specimen of Paraszechuanella from China.
