This is a wonderful specimen of Pseudolenus sp. from the Cambrian of Morocco. This inflated trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact and tightly attached, which is highly unusual. There is no mistaking the authenticity of this trilobite as the counterpart is also present, although not pictured. The bug exhibits fine detail - the crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The trilobite has gorgeous, natural, orangish coloration that contrasts beautifully with the grayish-green matrix. The ancient arthropod is almost perfectly centered on the rectangular plate. This is a very displayable example of this Cambrian trilobite.
