This is an excellent double specimen of Onnia superba from the Ordovician of Morocco. Both trilobites are wonderfully articulated and exhibit great detail. The pitted cephalic borders are clearly defined, the bulbous glabellas are easily seen, and the long, slender genal spines are quite evident. The three-dimensional bugs have wonderful color and are beautifully displayed on the sculpted plate of two-toned matrix. And best of all, this is a natural double - the trilobites have not been composited. This is a very striking specimen of Onnia from the Ordovician.
