This is a very attractive plate of trilobites. These are Ellipsocephalus hoffi from the Cambrian of the Czech Republic. Trilobites from this area are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. There are five nicely articulated trilobites and two partial examples on this slab. The bugs are quite 3-dimensional and exhibit fine detail. The fossils have beautiful yellowish-orange coloration and contrast wonderfully with the gray matrix. They are well presented on the natural plate of shale. This is an excellent multiple plate of trilobites from a classic "Old World" location.
