This is an excellent specimen of Cedaria minor from the Upper Cambrian of Utah. This trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fantastic detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long, pointed genal spines are complete to the tiny tips and beautifully displayed, and the eyes of the trilobite are easily seen. The fossil has excellent dark brown color and contrasts superbly with the yellowish-orange matrix. It is almost perfectly centered on the squared plate of limestone. And best of all, there is no reconstruction to this bug! This is an outstanding specimen of Cedaria minor from the Weeks Formation.
