Here is a very good example of Proetus granulosus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is extremely inflated and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The trilobite exhibits nice detail. The large, bulbous glabella is very pustulose, and the eyes of the trilobite are quite prominent. This bug has excellent color and contrasts wonderfully with the lighter-colored matrix. The specimen is well centered on the natural plate of limestone. This is a very cute Proetus at an extremely affordable price.
