This is an uncommon trilobite. It is a Michaspis librata from the Cambrian of Siberia. This trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact and tightly attached, which is quite unusual. The prone trilobite is slightly inflated and wonderfully articulated. The bug has great color and contrast and is well centered on the large plate of matrix. And now for the bonus. On the reverse side of the plate is a complete Hatangia scita (not pictured) and an impression of a small, protaspid trilobite. The Hatangia is also well preserved and has both free cheeks present. This is a very interesting plate of trilobites from Siberia.
