This is an unusual Upper Cambrian trilobite. It is a very nice Labiostria westropi from British Columbia, Canada. Both part and counterpart of this trilobite are present, although the counterpart is not pictured. This type of trilobite has long pleural spines and a small fan-tail. This specimen is complete with both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The trilobite has great color and contrast and is nicely centered on the concretionary matrix. This is a well preserved example of this Upper Cambrian trilobite.
