Here is a nice example of Proetus granulosus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is extremely 3-dimensional and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The trilobite exhibits very good detail. The large, bulbous glabella is very pustulose, and the eyes of the trilobite are quite prominent. This bug has excellent color and contrasts wonderfully with the lighter-colored matrix. The specimen is well centered on the sculpted plate of dense limestone. This is a handsome Proetus at an extremely affordable price.
