Here is a nice specimen of Brachyaspidion microps from the Wheeler Formation of Utah. This type of trilobite has a somewhat rectangular cephalon with short genal spines, thirteen thoracic segments, and a small, rounded pygidium. This complete trilobite is nicely articulated and exhibits very good detail. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well presented on a large, natural plate of shale. This is a fine example of this Middle Cambrian trilobite.
