Here is an interesting trilobite from the Lower Cambrian. It is a Hsuaspis bilobata from Kangaroo Island, South Australia. This type of trilobite has a very wide pre-glabellar field which is easily seen on this specimen. Although this trilobite does not have the free cheeks present, the over-all detail of the bug is quite nice. The fossil has good color and contrast and is well presented on the natural plate of shale that also contains another partial trilobite and some fragments This is a fine example of this Lower Cambrian trilobite from ''Down Under''.
