Here is an unusual trilobite from South America. This is Parabolina argentina from the Ordovician of Argentina. This trilobite is much more inflated than most specimens of this type. The trilobite is nicely articulated and shows fine detail - the individual thoracic segments are quite distinct. The bug has good color and contrast and is well presented on the natural block of matrix. This is a nice example of this South American trilobite.
