This is a "different" trilobite from Morocco and we are not really sure what it should be called. The body is much longer and narrower than a Cyphaspis and it has a thoracic spine that is very long. It seems to fit the description of Otarion best. The trilobite is extremely inflated and exhibits excellent detail. The pustulose glabella and the stalked eyes are clearly defined. The long, sweeping genal spines and the lengthy thoracic spine have been prepared in a free-standing manner and are beautifully displayed. The trilobite has great color and contrast and is well presented on the rounded plate of matrix. This is a spectacular specimen of an Otarion-like trilobite from Morocco.
