This is an excellent Upper Cambrian trilobite. It is a Labiostria westropi from British Columbia, Canada. This type of trilobite has long pleural spines and a small fan-tail. These features are beautifully displayed on this specimen. This outstretched trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. The bug has very good color and contrast and is well centered on the block of matrix. This is a great example of this Upper Cambrian trilobite.
