This is a very nice double specimen of Elrathia kingi from the Wheeler Formation of Utah. Both trilobites are quite large and exhibit fine detail. They are totally natural to the plate - they have not been composited. The larger trilobite still has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The black trilobites contrast nicely with the gray matrix. The bugs are well positioned and heading in the same direction on the natural plate of shale. This is a very pleasing specimen of this Cambrian trilobite.
