This is a very displayable spiny trilobite. It is a Comura sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. The ''look'' of this trilobite is truly amazing. There are over 50 vertical spines on this trilobite, and all of them are free-standing. This specimen is almost perfectly prone and wonderfully articulated. The long, sweeping pleural spines and pygidial spines are beautifully showcased. The natural color of the bug is quite striking and contrasts well with the light-colored matrix. The trilobite is almost perfectly centered on the large (5.4" X 5.4") circular plate of sculpted limestone. This is a very impressive specimen of this highly collectible trilobite from Morocco.
