Here is a very nice European trilobite. It is a large Cnemidopyge bisecta from the Ordovician of Wales. This oval trilobite is quite prone and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The fine detail of the trilobite is easily seen. The short genal spines are quite distinct, and a portion of the front glabellar spine is still intact. The bug has very good color and contrast and is well centered on the natural plate of matrix. This is an attractive example of this Ordovician trilobite from Wales.
