This is an excellent Upper Cambrian trilobite. It is a Labiostria westropi from British Columbia, Canada. This type of trilobite has long pleural spines and a small fan-tail. These features are well displayed on this specimen. This outstretched trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. The bug has great color and contrast and is nicely positioned on the concretionary matrix. This is a wonderful example of this spiny trilobite from the Upper Cambrian.
