This is an incredible trilobite. It is a huge, enrolled Drotops megalomanicus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is almost three inches wide and 6 inches around curve! This specimen was beautifully prepared, free of matrix, in the EXTINCTIONS prep lab here in Walsenburg, Colorado. This trilobite is extremely inflated and exhibits absolutely no crushing or deformation, whatsoever. The detail of the extremely thick exoskeleton is excellent, and the compound faceted eyes are very nice. This is the epitome of an enrolled trilobite for the serious trilobite collector.
