Here is a large multiple slab of trilobites from the Paradoxides Beds of Morocco. Until further scientific work is done on the Cambrian of Morocco, we are hesitant to put a name on these trilobites. There are many, many trilobites on this plate - over a dozen inflated, positive specimens are present. The trilobites have excellent orangish color and contrast wonderfully with the grayish matrix. What would cause so many trilobites to be fossilized in such a small area? Was this a "feeding ground" for these arthropods or did the molted carapaces drift into a depressional area? Perhaps we will never know the answers to these questions. We do know, however, that this is a very pretty plate of Cambrian trilobites.
