This is a nice specimen of Upper Cambrian trilobites. There are two examples of Cedaria minor on the plate. One of the trilobites is preserved dorsally, while the other is in the ventral position. The trilobites are totally natural to the plate - they have not been placed on the matrix. Both trilobites are outstretched and well articulated. The brownish-colored bugs contrast wonderfully with the yellowish-orange matrix. The ancient arthropods are nicely centered on the squared plate of limestone. This is a very pleasing specimen of two Cedaria minor from the Weeks Formation of Utah.
