This is an outstretched specimen of Odontochile hausmani from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. It is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibits good detail. The large, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the long, broad genal spines and the short caudal spine are beautifully displayed. The fossil has excellent, blackish color and contrasts nicely with the gray matrix. It is well positioned on the rounded plate of limestone. This is an attractive trilobite at a very affordable price.
